Box Elder County 2026 General Election Mandatory Post-Election Audit

In accordance with Utah State Election Code (UCA § 20A-3a-404), the Box Elder County Clerk's Elections Division will conduct the mandatory public post-election audit for the 2026 General Election.
### Statutory Audit Protocols & Public Observation
The audit verifies the precision and integrity of automated ballot-tabulating equipment used across the county:
* Bipartisan audit teams will manually review randomly selected paper ballot precincts and batches.
* Hand-counted tallies will be compared against digital machine scans to confirm 100% tabulation accuracy.
* The public and designated party observers are welcome to attend and observe proceedings from the designated observation gallery.
