Box Elder mountain bike team claims one more division title

The Box Elder Composite Mountain Bike team clinched the Division 2 championship title after capturing first place at the Utah High School Cycling League Region 1 championship race on their home course in Mantua. Competing on the challenging trails surrounding Mantua Reservoir, Box Elder riders compiled 6,909 points across three regional races to edge out runner-up Sky View (6,823 points).

Throughout the season, Box Elder and Sky View engaged in a fierce points battle, with the Bees securing narrow team victories in each regional competition to maintain their division lead. The team's consistency across all age classifications and skill levels proved decisive on their home Mantua terrain.

The Division 2 title highlights the expanding popularity and competitive excellence of Box Elder County’s youth cycling program, qualifying dozens of local student-athletes for the upcoming state championship event in St. George.
