Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Utah Kicks Off 'Fall Into Reading' Literacy Initiative

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Utah launched its annual 'Fall Into Reading' program across club sites in Box Elder County to inspire a lifelong passion for reading among elementary and intermediate students.

Citing national educational assessments indicating that only 31 percent of fourth graders demonstrate reading proficiency, club leadership designed the seasonal challenge to combine engaging book clubs, incentive milestones, and supportive youth mentorship. The program provides children in Brigham City and surrounding communities with structured reading time and resources outside of school hours.
